As we started to plan for the storm recovery in 2010 for work to be completed in 2011, it was our goal to be completed by December 1, 2011.
We have met our goal and have all storm damaged lines replaced or repaired, plow crews are gone and the last underground bore was completed on December 1 along with terminating the underground. The last retirement crew will be finished by December 6.
At the peak of construction, we were running two plow crews and two bore crews, totaling 15 additional personnel; three separate contractors terminating the underground totaling 12 additional personnel; two separate retirement crews totaling 11 additional personnel and two additional project coordinators helping to keep all of these crews moving in a forward direction.
